Performance Analysis for Scaling up R Computations Using Hadoop

There are a number of ways of integrating R with Hadoop and Spark. We explored RHIPE, Rhadoop, R Streaming, and SparkR and measured their performance.
During the project we also compared the performance of Hadoop and Spark on open public datasets on the TACC super computer Stampede.
